Hi, I’m Danielle!
I’ve always loved working with children, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to support children and families in a variety of roles, including working as a nanny, preschool teacher, community disability practitioner, and now as the owner of Danielle’s Dayhome.
My approach is centered around creating a calm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and free to explore the world around them. I believe children learn best through meaningful play, strong relationships, and opportunities to follow their natural curiosity.
In addition to my experience in early childhood education, I hold a diploma in Holistic Nutrition and have a passion for helping children develop healthy habits from an early age. Providing wholesome meals and snacks is an important part of my program, and I enjoy helping children build positive relationships with food in a relaxed and supportive way.
I am also a registered Yoga Teacher and love incorporating movement, mindfulness, and active play into our days whenever possible. Whether we’re exploring outdoors, creating art, reading stories, or simply sharing everyday moments together, my goal is to help children feel confident, capable, and cared for.
When families join my dayhome, I want them to have piece of mind that their child is spending their day in a safe, supportive environment where they are valued as an individual and encouraged to learn and grow at their own pace.
