Welcome to Danielle’s Dayhome!

I strive to create a true home-away-from-home environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn through play, exploration, and opportunities for discovery.

Inspired by Alberta’s FLIGHT curriculum framework, my program follows the interests and developmental needs of the children in my care. Our days are filled with hands-on learning, creative activities, open-ended play, and plenty of opportunities to build confidence, independence, and social skills. Whenever possible, you’ll find us outdoors exploring nearby parks, going on nature walks, playing in the backyard, or simply enjoying fresh air and sunshine.

Nutrition is also an important part of my program. Meals and snacks are prepared using wholesome, nourishing ingredients to support growth and development, and help children develop positive relationships with food from an early age.

Every child is unique, and one of my favourite parts of this work is getting to know each child’s personality, interests, and strengths. Whether we’re creating, exploring outdoors, sharing stories, or simply enjoying everyday moments together, my goal is to help children feel valued, confident, and supported as they grow.
